He has been an Associate Professor at Yale, Visiting Professor at MIT, and consultant to Goldman Sachs. In 1989 Dr. Dembo founded Algorithmics Inc., which he grew from a startup to the largest supplier of enterprise financial risk systems worldwide, serving more than 350 clients including 80% of the world’s largest banks and insurers. Dr. Dembo is the recipient of many awards for his research in risk management, optimization, and climate change, and in 2007 he was named Lifetime Fellow of the Fields Institute of Mathematics.

Before joining RiskThinking.ai, he served as CTO at EQ Works (TSXV: EQ), where he led the company’s transformation from an AdTech firm into a data-driven geospatial analytics powerhouse. Earlier, as President and CTO of Addictive Mobility, Dilshan led the company’s global expansion, establishing it as one of Canada’s first AdTech pioneers. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from York University and is recognized as a thought leader in machine learning, privacy-preserving data technologies, and scalable data engineering.

David brings four decades of experience across structured finance, derivatives, debt capital markets, private equity, carbon markets, infrastructure lending and financial data, gained through senior roles in North America, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia. Previous leadership roles included CEO of Markit Group Asia and Head of Global markets CIBC Europe. His board and industry involvement includes past directorships with Euroclear and the International Securities Market Association, and current membership on the Structured Finance Association's Esoteric Asset and Technology committees.

He has deep experience in high performance computing and emerging technologies to process vast climate data from satellites, monitoring networks, and models. Andrew serves on the WCRP-CMIP7 as a member of both the Impact and Adaptation Author Team and the Data Advisory Team and previously served as Chair of the Australian Meteorological and Oceanographic Society. Andrew holds a Bachelor of Science in Geography from the University of Canterbury.
