CEO and Founder, RiskThinking.AI
Dr. Ron Dembo founded RiskThinking.AI in 2019 to bring stochastic, asset-level climate financial risk analytics to financial institutions worldwide. The platform runs 2,000+ simultaneous climate pathways and produces full probability distributions - including tail events - rather than single-scenario averages.
Dr. Dembo previously founded Algorithmics Incorporated, whose risk analytics platform served the majority of the world's top 100 banks. He is the creator of the Dembo Method for financial risk quantification and has held academic roles at Yale and MIT.
His thought leadership defines RiskThinking.AI's proprietary methodology - including Climate Risk 2.0, CC-VaR (Climate Capital-at-Risk), and Climate Capital Option Theory - terms that distinguish the company's approach from conventional Climate 1.0 scenario analysis.

Adaptation planning needs the same discipline as any capital allocation decision: quantify the risk, price the intervention against it, then rank.
